Transgender troops are in Limbo. The Defense Initiative Department will complicate the majority to remain in the servicemen, although many federal judges have applied politics. Steve Walsh with Whro in Norfolk, this has left the troops with a difficult choice.
Steve Walsh, BYline: JO Ellis understands how much this moment is charged for the transgender service members. Black Sahin pilot, Ellis was accused of causing a DC crash between an aircraft and military helicopter in January.
Jo Ellis: It was really interesting to see hatred came to my way. Although I know this, it was not a surprise. It is the reality of being the one that opens on me. But it was something aimed towards me.
Walsh: Ellis grew up in Norfolk. 18 months ago, he passed as a member of the Virginia National Guard. He gave information about the experience a few days ago.
Ellis: What’s an interesting goal, didn’t really match their narratives for growing in a conservative house. I voted red in the whole voting record more than red. I served for 15 years in the military. I am a veteran, battle veteran.
Walsh: Ellis says that his guard was supported by his passage and negative propaganda.
Ellis: I know these people very well. I am all the army career, I have been with these people and have risen from the ranks. So it’s really a family and it’s hard to feel like you’re expelled from your family.
Walsh: Defense Department, targeted members of the Transgender service in February. So far, this is the three judicial lawsuits against politics. The judge’s order prevents the policy of the policy. Again, all other transgender troops face an option of Ellis.
Ellis: There is no intention to surrender and leave. I want to stay and stay until you will let me. I am a very lucky position that I am not active. I have closed for my watchdog for my owner, so I can wait for it.
Walsh: Alleria Stanley is currently a 20-year army veteran with the Transgender American Association of Veterans. It clearly appeared in the Obama administration, clearly, in a clear manner when the service was not legal. Trump 1 was stopped when the recruitment was stopped, but the troops that already serve can be left with at least applications. Under Biden, it was one of the first open transgender troops to retire with the full benefits. Pentagon offers a stimulus to make recommendations to leave people voluntarily. Stanley also says that some people who have taken the separation package and are abandoned, and even the trial of judicial problems continue.
Alleria Stanley: There is no significance of combat service. I do my job. See all these decorations and prizes and promotions. It doesn’t matter. No matter how good you don’t work, it allows you to make an incredible hearing that none should be working. We do not want you here.
Walsh: An Rand Investigation has been less influenced by a part of the transgender troops that openly served openly or affect a person’s ability to serve. Everyone who is transgender lives in sex, but Stanley is afraid of diagnosing conditions, the situation will be more appreciated to seek mental health.
Stanley: If you say something, you can get your record and therefore you can get the risk of losing all. It’s not just your career, but if you have addicts, you lose health. You lose the benefits of education. You lose the apartment – everything.
Walsh: On social media, the defense secretary Pete Hegseth will continue to fight to implement the Pentagon’s policy, and the supporters will believe that most transgender troops will believe in military operation.
