Vancouver, British Columbia, 09 March 2025 (TSX Newswire) – Methanex Corporation (TSX: MX) (NASDAX: MX), today 1.8 million tons of methanol plant, Geismar 3 (G3), Louisiana has been affected by an unplanned cut in late February. After completing various inspections, the management decided to automatically re-install (ATR) and management in early May 2025.

During this cut, management will be completed and no longer required to complete other planned repair work in G3, which was part of a three-week three-week cut. In this incision, according to the sale of methanol produced, the second quarter is expected to be affected by financial results. The cost of these repairs is not expected to be material.
