As part of Gen X, my colleagues for most of my life were usually close to me than me. Again, for more than 23 years, I had a new joy to work with young colleagues after teaching a public school. I appreciate their energy and enthusiasm to not mention their technological skills.
But two years ago, when I met Mrs. Barry, I was a real friend with one of them and finally got a small sister figure.
Our business attitude turned into friendship
As a second language teacher, I was English, and he was a English language art teacher in our school and when I started working closely, I was surprised to work with him. He was one of the few teachers who did not just want to do my suggestions and used them. Perhaps most importantly, we often make ourselves laugh loudly together.
When I need to start a monthly Saturday program to help our arrival of a monthly immigrant, I had to find another teacher who wanted to work with me, an awesome task. Most people did not want to take care of their pre-commitments or children over the weekend or just give up their time – but not.
Saturdays were pleased to get up and help early in the morning. He always prepared to give me a cheerful and helping me prematurely to help and even bring and check items. It was difficult to come in my experience with such cooperation. In the coming weeks, we used to teach our students, helping all the backgrounds can work together, how to cook, paint and speak our students. We also laughed too much in the abdomen.
As English teachers, we both loved writing and literature, but we also liked to travel. He was always eager to hear about my house and my deadlines. As some of my friends can be, but it was always with me, it was something I really needed.
He walked away, but we stayed as friends
He will move to Montana and continues to work together for the rest of the year. I was excited for him; One thing that moves around was something I did in his age, but I felt the loss. I just lost my mother. That same year I lost my other business Bestie and a second retired grandmother.

The next year, I was surprised to see how much a small co-worker like a friend like a friend and I often wrote. When I have a funny story to touch or crush a new crush, I missed the nearest listening. I was pleased to hear about his journeys and realize that his descendants need to absorb work, I still felt his absence.
I always think about how relations with the gaps of great age and now I understand that in some cases we need people who are different in our lives. We need this balance.
Every time I hear from him, I smile. I recently told the actor I said I said I was like James James, and now I love it even more. He asked me to look for more friends than I was younger than me. I realized that I like to hear their prospects and recommendations.
It was not just about the fact that one was young and stupid because I am around the whole day; It was more than someone to have to have life experience and assessing me.
