Today the US Althea Gibson Cup team had the first experience in the Mirasol Country Club (Thank you Jenny to get the courts!). On the other side of Florida and the other side of the state, Betsy Kuhle, Pat Purcell and Tina Karwasky forced him to practice early despite his early experience. We played for hours: double, some singles and florida drank lots of water in heat and humidity.
Jenny Klich brought the 60s Team (Andi) when a working call and a terrible match.
Our team was thrown by the Courts of Rep Michael and gave our player player, captain and individual gifts
In the evening I gave all US players (and a South Africa, Jenny Cerff) and a dinner for friends. Happy birthday consisting of the 64-year birthday cake, balloons, songs (traditional birthday and South African children) and a candle of Vicki Buholz
Tomorrow we have a morning experience in our cup, and I have a captain meeting after the opening ceremonies in the afternoon.
