“When I crossed this finish line, this was my dream – it proved that all the years of war say something,” he said. “I couldn’t keep my emotions.”

Faranak’s victory sent ripples through Iran’s sports world. For the first time, Iran’s sports minister said that it is important to preach the bike of women. Changed a single race conversation.
“When all these years are wanting to stop, the only thing that catches me, there was another young girl in Iran, there was another young girl like me, the greatest prize for my medals and my success creates a ray of hope.”
