Saturday was another vapor hot day in South Florida and the last day of the 2025 ITF World Championship for 60/65/70 sections.
Bunnie Jackson and I won the couple in our W70 couple (8 AM!) Sally Van Rensburg (AUS) / Pauline French (GBR) and 61 64. Bunnie was able to win the first ITF gold medal.
Leanne SwaySland / Ros Balodis (AUS), Pat Medrado (Bra) / Susan Wright in a beautiful match that lasted about three hours to win the double crown (US). Points were long and fun and mostly won … The number of unprocessed errors was quite low. Leanne has prepared some beautiful images on the network; Wright was amazing with the hand skills and movements of Medrado and Balodis, without mistaking. In the fun match, 75 76 wins (after eussies after 25 in the second set).
Dan Waldman (USA) won 70 singles, 76 62 (he was the first in Paul French (GBR), another rally was in French in French.
The remaining finals were all three sets of three sets, because the ITF is the best in three sets according to the finals.
GLENN BUSBY (AUS) Bill Moss playing in the first world championship in the first world championship in men’s finals in the first world. I saw a little from the third set … (I told me that Algae me 3-0, two breaks). Both players were pummeling the ball. Moss 4-4 had a break point and returned ahead of the trial … and Busby continued to win the match more than three hours and was broken. 5-7 6-3 6-4.

Lisa Prechtel (NED) won the Women’s Simone Vasconcellos (BrA) 62 16 62. The conditions were hard all week.
I was told that the 60s of the men, Argentina Marcelo Ingaramo lasted four hours in about 60 in Spain in Marseelo Ingaramo. 63 46 76. What a battle. In the mixed 65, Balodis / Peter Hampton (AUS) beat Chuck Kuhle / Anne Frautschi in the final; Balodis / Hampton Beat Brits Gillian Brook / John Lloyd, not judged according to neither match or scores. Kuhley / Frautschi Sylvie Priyult (FRA) / Daniel Mueller (Suise) 75 62, 75 62 in the day in the day.
Christina Kaus (USA) won 63 62 bonus bonuses over Daniela Esswein (GU).
