Several Bronx business owners express the frustrations of the scribe of the MTA, according to the construction of the MTA.
Fencing and concrete barricades block a lot of many stores along the Broadway near Van Cortlandt Park, partially hides a large part of the signs of enterprises and eliminates the parking lot.
According to a MTA spokesman, the street station in Van Cortlandt Park-242 ended in 2026 in late October 2026. The crews change an elevator and a high-level station of the century.
The MTA spokesman said that the construction is still active, but re-evaluated after a sewer line outside the original plan of the sewage line. The spokesman continued, saying that this was not uncommon for this to happen.
A MTA spokesman issued a statement: “We have been closely cooperated with communities and enterprises since the last spring and continued to reduce the height of construction and obstacle to complete this project under schedule and budget.”

Louie Porco is in the family of the pizza shop family, and his father opened the doors in 1969. The restaurant stopped the test of time, but Porco shared his concerns from the bottom line since the construction started.
“The business was pretty good, you know before the construction. But since the construction, 35% decreased,” said Porco.
Aubakr Algazali, who felt the stain of construction, a few weeks after the construction of the MTA, shared Bagel Deli’s owner Aubakr Algazali and Bagel Shared said.
“We closed it. We have opened our work. We know. You know, I have to pay and bend and rent.
Porco hopes for something to be done to bring something to normal.
“The main thing is to give us some parking lots. Cut a little. It’s great. There are no introductions. People should go all over to reach us,” Porco said.
