Masondo could not confirm the cause of the shooting.
One person was arrested in connection with the crimes of two REA Vaya drivers last month and will appear in court.
The suspect, a 27-year-old man, was arrested in Linden on Wednesday and met two cases of two criminal drivers, police confirmed police on Thursday.
