On Tuesday, the eighth of the Canada-US trade war, Ontario Premier Doug Ford, was supported by an additional 25 percent of the 25 percent of the electricity that day needs to take effect.
This came after the “productive conversation” between Ford and US Trade Secretary Howard Lutnick, who agreed to meet on Thursday.
Lutnick prepares tours in cable networks selling Trump tariffs and selling Canada’s answers. He was also called last week between Prime Minister Trudeau and Trump and communicated with Finance Minister Dominic LeBlanc.
So who is Howard Lutnick? What negotiator is he? What do you believe?
Dan Alexander is the editor-in-chief in Forbes magazine. Recently wrote a profile in Lutnick, called “Haqth lutnick in Wall Street: Howard Lutnick, the story selected for the option for Trump’s trading secretary.”
