Police in Gauteng arrested six people in the southern Johannesburg, the Cash-Transit (CIT) Heist in Vanderbijlpark.
The suspects were arrested in a few hours after robbery, after a well-associated operation.

CIT Robbery took place when the security team loads cash in an ATM.
Police spokesman Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, the suspects used a rifle and pistol to security officers approached security guards.
He said, “They robbed the guards and fled the scene with an unexplained money in the two-run cars, an unexplained money in the Audi A3 and Toyota quantity. Fortunately, no fire was opened and injured.”

Police operation causes arrest and seizures
After receiving information about robbery, Sedibeng K9 began to watch the suspects, including the Public Asayer Police and CIT Task.
The investigation took them to a house in Evaton, where the suspects were arrested.
Two vehicles used during the crime, along with three pistols, a rifle, five cell phones and stolen money were seized.

Colonel Nevhuhulwi confirmed that six suspects face more than one charge, including the owner of armed robbery and undocumented firearms and ammunition. The suspects are expected to appear in front of the Vanderbijlpark Magistrat.
Gauteng Police Commissioner moves fast
The arrest of the suspects Gauteng was greeted by the Provincial Commissioner for General Tommy MTHOMBE.
Mthomben approved a police team for a quick response that led to the successful restoration of stolen goods and the seizure of criminals.
“The rapid and effective action of our officers has ensured that the suspects are still in prison with the stolen goods.”
